A Unique Source of Information

The Invention Success Kit is the first complete package that gives you all the tools you need to successfully license your invention for royalties or sell for a lump sum.

I wrote the Invention Success Kit to help people who have ideas but are frustrated in not knowing what to do with them. Based on my over twenty four years developing and bringing products to the market, this kit reveals the essential real-world methods to get your idea into the market.

With the Invention Success Kit, you'll know the steps to get to market, how to protect and evaluate your ideas, make a prototype, sell or license your idea to a company for royalties.

The Unique 7-Step Process to License or Sell for a Lump Sum

Get Your Product into Retailers

• STEP 1: Market Evaluation

Find out how to do invention market research and how to evaluate the marketability of your invention. With a quick evaluation of the market, you screen out bad ideas before wasting time and money.

Your invention is marketable when it solves a problem, meets a need or want, overcomes competition (products and patents), and generates a profit.

• STEP 2: Concept Evaluation

Find out how to do a simple and free invention concept evaluation. A simple Concept Evaluation is an easy-to-use survey method you can create yourself following my instructions and examples.

The results provide you with valuable feedback so you have a better feel whether to proceed with your invention. In addition, a concept evaluation lets people provide helpful suggestions and advice.

• STEP 3: Prototype Creation and Evaluation

Find out how to create the right prototype for your invention and have an evaluation. A prototype can be a physical model, detailed drawing, or animation. With a prototype, you obtain opinions to make sure you're on the right track.

In addition, a prototype evaluation helps you uncover any necessary feature changes before moving onto the next stage.

• STEP 4: Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights

Find out about patents (types, costs, patent attorneys), trademarks, and copyrights. Find out how to file a simple Provisional Patent Application (PPA) to give you a year of protection while you test the market. Find out about types of patents, the costs, and how to find patent attorneys and patent agents.

• STEP 5: Product Proposal

Find out how to create a Product Proposal. To license or sell your invention, companies need to understand your invention from a business perspective. When you leave it up to the company to figure out your invention, you're much more likely to be rejected.

Before approaching a company, write a summary of your invention's market need, benefits, competitive advantages, and profit potential into a Product Proposal document. Use my easy to follow instructions and examples.

• STEP 6: Company Search and Contact

Find out how to contact the right companies who make, market, and sell products that are comparable with your invention. You'll see how to search for the right fit, types of executives to contact, and how to make contact that works.

You'll get my methods along with word for word phone call scripts. And when companies are interested, you'll find out how to make a presentation.

• STEP 7: Negotiate a Deal

Find out what to do when a company is interested in licensing or buying your invention. When a company likes your invention, they will ask you what you want.

Find out the steps to prepare, discuss, and obtain a great deal. You need to discuss and agree on the many terms and legal clauses that go into a licensing agreement for royalties, or an assignment agreement when selling your invention for a lump sum payout.

Get the important licensing terms and clauses in detail such as -- Exclusivity, Royalties, Definition of Net Sales, Royalty Payment Schedule, Guaranteed Minimum Annual Royalties (GMAR), Advances, Time Period, Territory, Field of Use, Improvements, Production Schedule, Quality Control, Accounting Audit, Termination, Product Liability, Infringement, and more.

Why Did I Create the Invention Success Kit?

I wanted to help people who have good ideas but were frustrated in not knowing what to do with them. For years, inventors and entrepreneurs have asked me the same questions over and over again about how to turn an idea into a market success. With so many good ideas floating around and a small percentage making it the market, I saw a need to get practical information out to the public.

How Is This Information Different From Other Invention Resources?

Books written by famous inventors discuss their life story and their successes, but they don't offer a detailed process that the new inventor can easily follow.

Also, many will tell you what to do, but they do not really tell you how to do it. I take you by the hand step-by-step and show you what to do and how to get an invention to market.

What Research Was Done?

My goal was to uncover the newest and most essential information. First, I reviewed in detail my experiences of taking products from concept to commercialization. Pouring over documentation, timelines, and project notes, I re-assembled the processes each step of the way.

In addition, I interviewed experts on the newest prototype methods, licensing managers at big and small companies, patent attorneys on the current issues, professors and successful entrepreneurs on time-tested marketing techniques, packaging designers, and investors on methods to raise money. As a result, it took almost two years to plan, research, and complete.

Is This Easy To Understand?

The material is easy to read, clear and concise. You'll go through the 7 Step process as if I was there coaching you at every turn. The Kit includes checklists, templates, and easy to follow examples.

Take Ownership

With the Invention Success Kit I lead you step-by-step through the entire process. Because the information you're about to get is the best resource on inventing, I offer a complete guarantee.

Don't try to reinvent the wheel yourself. Take ownership of the Invention Success Kit and for the first time you'll be on your way to turning your ideas into reality.
