Helping
You License for Royalties or Sell Your Product Idea to Companies
Your
Situation: You have a product idea that you want
to license or sell to a manufacturing company.
Typically, inventors call
companies on their own to license or sell their idea, only to be ignored or rejected.
Inventors have told me this over and over.
Why do inventors get rejected?
Because companies want to know how a product will generate a profit.
Inventors
who call or blindly mail booklets, talk about their idea in terms of features,
functions, and innovation. That's good and important, but there's a disconnect
between the inventor's point of view, and the company's need for marketing data
and sales forecasts.
With a background in engineering and business, I
bridge the gap between inventor and companies interested in your idea. I worked
for many years as a Developer and Product Manager for corporations and know what
interests them, how to approach them, and who to contact.
Step

meeting to discuss your product idea. Ill provide you with valuable feedback,
review the licensing process with you and offer key points on how to license your
idea to prospective companies.

Step 2: Product Proposal
I
will create a Product Proposal. Companies need to understand your invention from
a business perspective. A key ingredient is to create a Product Proposal. Like
a mini-business plan, a Product Proposal clearly states the market need, product
description, benefits, advantages over the competition, profit potential, and
other information as needed. Because companies can be skeptical, this document
is always backed by up-to-date statistics and marketing data. Fee: $325
Step 3: Company Search and Contact
After your Product Proposal is completed, the search begins for a suitable
company. I'll search for up to 10 companies that offer a best fit your invention.
I'll find and call a personal contact within each company, pitching your product.
If they are interested, I'll send a cover letter along with your Product Proposal.
Then, Ill follow up to generate interest in pursuing a deal. Fee: $595
