With
companies cutting back on staff, many are looking to the outside for
new ideas. They are not looking for just any idea. Companies must
be convinced an invention will become a money-making product.

You
Should Be Rewarded for your Creativity
Do you have some great
ideas but don't know how to get companies interested? If you have called
companies and got rejected, you know it's no fun. Not only are you not
getting recognition, you're not getting rewarded for your creativity and
ingenuity. I know this can be frustrating.
Or,
you're not taking any action, hoping for a big break. When I was younger
I've had ideas in which I didn't take action. And when someone else brought
their products to the market I was thinking, hey that's my idea. Yes I
lost the opportunity, but at least I knew I was on the right track. What
was missing was knowledge and the right steps to take.
Why do inventions get rejected?
Typically, inventors call companies on their
own to license or sell their idea, only to be rejected. Inventors have told
me this over and over.
Because
companies want to know how a product will generate a profit. Inventors who
call or blindly mail booklets, talk about their idea in terms of features,
functions, and innovation. That's important, but there's a
disconnect between the inventor's point of view, and the company's need
for marketing data and sales forecasts.
How I can help you
With a background in engineering and an MBA,
I bridge the gap between inventor and companies interested in your idea. I
worked for years as a Developer and Product Manager for corporations and know how they operate.
Step 1: The first step is to get your invention ready for licensing. We will have a one-hour telephone meeting to discuss your invention and things we need to do before approaching companies.
Step 2: I translate inventions into the language that gets companies excited. One of the key ingredients is creating a Licensing
Proposal. Like a mini-business plan, this document states the advantages
of your product idea from their prospective. Since companies can
be skeptical, this document is backed by statistics and marketing data.
Step 3: With a Licensing Proposal completed, the search
begins for a suitable company. I'll look for the best companies, make contact, and generate interest in your invention.
To get started, click the Step 1 "Buy Now"
button below. After you place your order, you'll receive a brief questionnaire
to prepare you for our telephone meeting. Fill it out, and then I'll call
you at the time we agree upon.
Note: This service does not take a percentage of the deal. You keep all royalties and advances.
Licensing Package
Licensing
Step 1:
Product Idea Review Meeting
We will review your
invention, how it meets a need, market research you may have done,
patents, and other important aspects. By the end of the one-hour telephone meeting,
I will give you suggestions and prepare you for the next Licensing
steps to take. Fee: $150
If
you own my Invention Success Kit, the one hour meeting is only $95.
Licensing
Step
2:
Create Licensing Proposal
A key ingredient to
getting your invention accepted is creating a Licensing Proposal.
Like a mini-business plan, this document states the market need, target
market, potential competitors, advantages of your product idea over
the competitors, and profit potential.
I'll create a Licensing Proposal
that details your invention from a business perspective. Since companies
can be skeptical due to many products failing in the market, the Licensing
Proposal is backed by statistics and marketing data.
Fee: $325
Market Data: Companies have to be convinced there is a market
need for your product idea and profit potential. The Licensing Proposal
must include market data from credible sources such as known trade
organizations, magazines, or market reports. You can learn techniques
to acquire market data from my Invention Success Kit. Or, hire me
to do the research for you.
Licensing
Step
3: Contact Companies
With a Licensing Proposal completed, the search begins for a suitable
company. I'll search for up to 10 companies that are the best fit
for your invention. I'll find a personal contact within the company
and call them. If they are interested I'll send a cover letter with
your Licensing Proposal. Then I'll follow-up to determine if they
want to pursue a deal.
Fee: $595
All
discussions are confidential. My business depends on my honesty
and your trust in me.
